I CAN RUN!!! And how dare you update on MY diary!!! Anyway, today I taught Em how to dust herself off after she falls or gets dirt on her hands. She learned pretty quickly, I was surprised. When she wipes her hands together she goes "duh duh." Which I believe means dirty, but I can't be sure because everything these days is either duh duh or bah bah, but with different inflections.

Today I had my first day of softball practice. I was asked by a fellow bus driver to be on her team and for some reason I said "sure." Now, I have never played softball, maybe some good ol' T-ball back in the day...but as I realized today, a softball is quite a lot bigger than a baseball. I totally cannot throw, I throw like a girl and I am so embarrassed. So we will see how that goes...I don't think I am the worst one on the team. Plus I can run, I mean I am pretty fast (don't listen to Mike, he has never seen me run for real). So for all the balls I miss and don't catch I just run real fast after them and it's like I never missed them...I wonder if my teammates see it that way?

I think Melissa may have already sent this out, but I'm not sure. Here is the little princess when she went in for her Valentines Day pics.

So, what has been going on you might ask??? Emma is quickly learning more and more...she isn't really talking yet. But she knows a lot of words and realizes what we are saying to her or asking of her. Emma has had a very snoty nose the past few days but I don't think she is sick. She might be teething again, ready to get her top teeth, but who knows since she won't let me in to feel them. Also, she has been boycotting food this past week more than ever! It drives me crazy cause I start to worry that she isn't getting enough to eat and that what she is eating is not that nutricious. Her meals are consisting of cheerios, grahm crackers, nutri-grain breakfast bars and canned peaches. Plus some juice and milk. But the doctor assures me this is normal. She actually did eat some chicken divan last night and some carrots. Well, Em needs a nap now so peace out.....

I know I have fallen behind in my postings but I do have an excuse. Our network has been down a good part of the week so that everytime I would log on I would end up getting kicked off after a minute or two. Anyway, Em is doing much better. This week she is only sick with a cough/cold type thing. But I haven't taken her to the doctor because I don't want any more antibiotics! Em is going to be immune to their healing powers by the age of 2 at the rate she is going! She isn't acting sick though so I am not that worried. That is the part that always kills me; when she just lays there on the floor with me not moving, sucking on passy, watching tv. Pathetic basically. Speaking of sick babies..... DID ANYONE WATCH ER?????!!!! I was hysterical at the thought of that happening to a baby/family!!!! No, literally, I was hysterical, ask Mike. He was poking fun at me for crying at TV babies! Anyway, it was THE saddest show I've ever seen. later dudes....
