Well, today Em and I took a big step. We went to Walmart without a diaper bag. I know, I know, it's very daring. But we thought we were ready to leave the diaper bag at home and opt for a smallish cute purse. Of course Em wanted to carry it the whole time cause she is very into purses right now (I don't know where she learned that). But the purse was too heavy for her so she would carry it a few feet then hand it to me then cry cause she wanted to carry it. It was a big vicious cycle. But the important thing is, we made our trip without any casualties. No poop even. We are so grown up....

As of tommorow I will be 12 weeks pregnant. This is a big mile stone and after 12 weeks I usually start to feel more pregnant because I don't worry so much that something bad might happen. I really don't know how I am going to survive the next 6 months. I am so anxious I'm about to explode! I keep trying to calm down because I'm sure my speeding heart beat is not good for baby. I am somewhat enjoying my summer break. This week I have been totally bored. We have guests coming next week so I have a lot of cat hair cleaning I need to be doing. But as some of you may know, I am the world's best (worst?) procrastinator. So I have not been cleaning these last two days, bad girl! But I will get it done and the house will look fabulous as always. I really need to go back to work. I have a tendency to do nothing when presented with that option. Anyway, we are really looking forward to our Florida relatives coming here!!! As for miss Emma, she is talking a lot now. Of course we don't know what she is saying most of the time, but she does repeat a lot of words after we say them. Her front teeth are getting real big so don't stick any fingers that you want to keep inside her mouth because she thinks it is funny to hear mommy and daddy yelp in pain. I guess that is all for now, peace out dudes...

I had my second appointment today and they are sticking with a due date of January 8th. I had a lovely internal exam and everything appears to be ok. My next appointment is in 4 weeks. I am 11 weeks pregnant this week. I'd like to say I have been enjoying my summer break but on the last day of school we had a water pipe in our front yard break and spring a leak. Following that, our entire front yard was dug up. That was last Thursday and the idiots and just now putting the dirt back eventhough the pipe had been fixed since last Thursday! It's like they don't understand that we don't want a backhoe sitting in our front yard and that we would like some grass back...

I have now had my first obgyn appointment and they think the baby is due January 3rd. I tell you, we must have to worst planning, or the best, depends on how you look at it...The doctor said if everything looks good before that and I am starting to "get ready" to deliver that they can induce me. Hopefully, he/she will just be early on its own. I really didn't want to be induced again. I hated being hooked up to those tubes the whole day, not being able to leave bed, having to pee in a tray....how humiliating! I will be ten weeks tommorow. Time seems to be dragging. I gave Em a haircut last night. She has these long scraggly curls in the back of her head so I cute them off with 3 snips in hopes they will grow in thicker. You really can't even tell I cut it. Wednesday is our last day of school here. Today, Tuesday, is supposed to be the hottest day of the year so far, I think they said around 100 degrees. Our radio guy comes over the radio this morning and is like "be sure you all bring some water this afternoon..." DUH, of course I'll bring water!!! So anyway, my next appointment is on June 20th...
