Hey Paula! I gotta tell you something. I'm really excited about it. Uh, for the first time, today, I woke up, I came to the store, and I - I feel confident to say to you that if you don't take this Michael McDonald DVD - that you've been playing for two years straight - off, I'm going to kill everyone in the store and put a bullet in my brain!

We had our cookie making party and it was a success ... for those who chose to participate anyway. Some were lazy and chose to loaf on the couch, snooze even. The cookies turned out beautiful and we had a great time. Paige's room is halfway done, the stripes are so beautiful, like something out of a magazine! The chair rail is up and painted and we are also putting crown molding up because there is a spot on the ceiling that has started cracking. 2 walls still need to be striped so I will try to do some of that tommorow. We have been having a great week with cousin Katie. Emma loves her a lot!!! I had another Dr.'s appointment today and I got this stupid woman, Dr. Tran. She was wondering why I was being induced. She did not sound thrilled about the idea and told me I did not look ready at this point. I realize this people. Why do these Dr.s think I would do something to harm my baby? Dont' they realize I wouldn't ask to be induced unless we were both ready!?!? Anyway, I am not getting my hopes up for a December induction. Which is fine, I just feel bad for Emma. I don't want her to have to share a birthday or even the month of January for that matter! Alright, peace out peeps!

I just had my 36 week checkup and I am officially dilated to 1/2 of a centimeter and 50% effaced. I don't think I was anywhere at 36 weeks with Emma so I am positive that this is a good sign. We are still set to induce on December 30th, if I am ready and if we can get an appointment at Fairfax Hospital. The Dr.'s office has to call Monday morning and try to get me in; your only allowed to call 2 weeks in advance to set up induction. Apparently it is very busy because everyone is trying to get their tax break on. I would love a tax break, but even more I would love to be holding a new baby. In other news...we set up our christmas tree, we have a blue and white theme this year. Emma just received her first presents, one for christmas and one for her birthday from her aunt Betty of Idaho. She is dying to open them! Cousin Katie is coming up here from Florida and will be here Friday night so we are very excited! Sunday will be our cookie making party if anyone wants to come.....it starts early!

My litte star performer just took the biggest pooh ever on the potty. I took a picture, is that gross? She is getting a little better at the potty. We just let her walk around with no pants on so that when she has to pee she can run to the potty which is on the kitchen floor. Last night she started to pee but then stopped herself and ran to the potty so that is some pretty good progress I think. This morning, with the pooh and all, that is just incredible!!!! She is such a grown up!!!
