I have often been accused of being an exaggerater. Well, as you can clearly see in this pic, there is ice on my lawn and it is CLEARLY not melting! I therefore choose to uphold my earlier blogger statement of it being freezing down here.

We went to Lowes again tonight to get a fan for our new porch. The girls were somewhat good. Paige and Em both scored an 8.5 on the behavior scale with Sophia getting the lowest score of 6. These scores were good enough to win a slurpee from Target however. Believe me, Sophia scoring a 6 is impressive, just ask Uncle Greg. Anyway, we cruised around Target and I found these freaking adorable coverups/dresses for Paige and Em. I think that Sophia will fit in the same size that Paige is wearing (that was the smallest size!) so I might go back and get her one too. Then I found this bikini for Em, not sure about that pose she is striking! Her dad was instructing her and as you can tell she is about asleep since we got home so late. I would never have been allowed a black bikini EVER, but I thought this one was soooooo cute. It is a little big, might not be able to wear it til next year!

It was freezing today but the girls still wanted to go swimming! Jen's pool was nice and warm though, not like I would know since Jen and I sat in the sun trying to stay warm! Sophia enjoyed a bit of independence as I pushed her towards the middle of the pool with her floatie suit and floatie ring! Paige is going thru a stage where she is scared of the water so she just sits at the edge mostly. She was the first one out of the pool so she got the dryest towel....Em took a pic of Jen and I, I know, upward pointing camera angels are not very flattering. My awesome new blue racing suit was a birthday present from my mom. Don't I look awesome? Hooty hoot VA Hills! I gotta swim my laps....

Today we had the orientation at Edgewater Elementary. We had a good time, I guess, as good a time as you can have. Aunt Stef, who works there, stopped by to keep us company and point out the "good" teachers. Em had to go out in the hallway and take a test, we heard she did very well. Em says she wants to go to that school so that Stef can drive her everyday...she does not want me to drive her! HEY! I thought I was THE COOL MOM>?!?!?!

Friday was very exciting for us. Mike (Sailor's Dad, Judy's Son, Judy is Denny's cousin, Judy married us) came over to install the electric hook up for our hot tub. He brought over his daughter,Sailor, to come and play with the girls. You might remember her from Katie's grad party pics. They were here for about 3 hours and had tons of fun. She is so cute and loves to pose for the camera. She is an amazing talker, saying complete, full and grammatically correct sentences.
In other news, Em had another game on Saturday. Put us down for another win. The other team had to forfeit due to lack of players. We ended up donating some players and had a little scrimmage so that our kids didn't feel like they had shown up for nothing. Later that night Mike became sick with the Florida Flu. I'm hoping Em and Soph don't get it. He is very sick today so I have tried to keep the girls out of the house by doing yardwork all day. We had dinner over at the Whites house. Grandpa Mike is there for the next two weeks doing some work on their house. The girls were happy to have someone new to show all their latest tricks to. That brings us to the current hour. Everyone is in bed asleep. But I'm on the computer like a big nerd! Oh well, I cannot disappoint our fans! Tomorrow is a big day for Emma, she has kindergarten orientation in the morning. She is very nervous already. Hopefully we will see someone she knows....Goodnight, I'm beat!

The long awaited pics of the new screen porch. I know, our yard looks horrible. We need to patch up some of the areas that were torn up! The old screen porch will be now be made into an additional room of our house. Grandpa Mike will be coming down here to visit his sister, Stef, to do work on her house. Hopefully he will be able to help Mike make that old porch into a room. We plan on making that Mike's new office and putting the french doors out there too, connecting to the new screen porch. Does that make sense?

Easter mid-morning at the Schrader's. The girlz and boyz prepare for the hunt! The boyz looked so cute in their vests! Grandma Bobbie had sent the girlz these cute new outfits from Childrens Place. Em took a pic of Mike and I. Mike looked so good in his new Haiwaiian shirt from SAMS club! Sophia is setting out for an Easter Crusade!

Today I have been sick all day. I have what Paige had last weekend. Except I didn't throw up, so Mike says I wasn't really sick. I fought back my throw up all night and all morning long so my poor body is very weak. I was supposed to be Paige's teacher today but they sent me home and they kept Sophia so I laid in bed all morning sleeping. Luckily Mike stayed home and took care of me. I am feeling better now at 7pm but still feel quite fluey. Mike made me some chicken noodle soup that was pretty good and I got down a bit of that. This is the first time I've gotten out of bed and sat in a different chair today!
In other news, they started our porch screen today. The frame went up today and we are going to have a pretty good sized area to use. I will try and take some pics tomorrow.

Thanks Grandad for the the neat cookies that we can color on! Paige is not sure it is safe to eat them! Sophi doesn't care! It's a cookie, she wants it now! Em is not too sure about it because there is no chocolate, she likes the drawing part though!

Little Erin, so sweet, showed up to school just in time to enjoy the egg hunt. Em learned a new way to dye eggs, using tissue paper and a spray bottle. Em's bunny fingers talk to her bunny cake. Noah and Dean pose seriously amidst all the Easter fun...
