We just saw SUPERMAN RETURNS and it was AWESOME! You must go see it this weekend. We had quite a party of people too. Mike, Greg, Chris, Katie, Jenna, Chase and Myself. Thanks to Jen and Grandma for watching the girlz!

Well, here are about a billion photos from New Smryna Beach's firework display. They had their celebration Saturday night. Sophi stayed home with grandma. I was hoping she would go to bed, but she didn't. The rest of the children had a great time. I think the adults had a great time as well. Personally, my day could not have been any better, unless I had eaten a Thanksgiving meal before seeing the fireworks. Hopefully we will get to see Edgewater's fireworks on July 4th from our boat!

Melissa and Jen went to pick Greg up from the airport, so I am just hanging out with our new fridge. Samsung!!! Don't be too jealous, but our lucky streak with appliances continued. They delivered it and there were scratches on the side. Instead of returning it Melissa called and got us a 10% discount. You can't see the scratches with the cabinets there, anyway. I had to pull it out to fix the water line the installers had messed up and I couldn't find the scratches at all actually. The installers are the ones who pointed them out originally, so I guess they are on there somewhere...

These girls could collect buckets of water all day long. They are the ones you need to call if you ever get stuck in a flood.

The other night there was supposed to be a rocket launch at 530pm. So we loaded up the kids and went to the beach to watch it. It ended up being delayed for 40 minutes or so. Luckily we were able to call headquarters back on Mango Tree and find this out rather than waiting that whole time on the beach with 6 starving kids! Here is a pic of me hanging out with the crazy beach girls and another pic of me explaining to Chris and Jen the inner workings of a delayed rocket launch...

The twins arrived at 7pm last night for their first sleepover at our house. They looked sooooo cute in their matching PJs! The girls took a bath while the boys played in their room. Afterward they all had some chocolate milk and watched THE JUSTICE LEAGUE. They were all talking so loudly I don't know how they heard the cartoon. They all are in love with super heros and kept saying, in their loudest voice possible, which super hero they would choose to be. It was kind of funny. Noah and Emma were cuddled together on the couch while Paige was resting her head on Will's shoulder. Sophi was kind of overwhelmed and had to sit alone in a chair because she wouldn't stop screaming. Bedtime was ok, we all brushed teeth and read a book. I tried to let the big kids all sleep in the same room but they wouldn't stop talking! I finally moved the girls to the living room pull out couch and let the boys sleep in the bunk beds. They fell asleep soon thereafter.
But we're all awake now! GOOD MORNING!

Saturday morning....Mike went fishing at the crack of dawn so my wonderful mother came over and cooked me some bacon! I love having her right down the street for emergencies such as those.
I broke down and bought the girls some pink nail polish. I had to paint their toes first thing Saturday morning. They also wanted me to paint my toes because they had never seen them with paint on them. They were very impressed at how good my toes looked. Sorry the pic is blurry, I held the button down til it focused !!!!!

These are pics of my gardens in the front of the house. I weeded everything and pulled up all the old mulch and I'm in the process of planting more stuff. But I have no idea what to plant. I bought a couple of little flowery plants to mix with all the other stuff but my beds still look so empty. If anyone has any ideas please email me! Just remember that most of the beds are FULL SUN so I can't plant a lot stuff that I would like to.

After we got to the end of Flager Ave we took a little stroll on the beach. Paige is very proud that she can make a letter "P" in the sand.

Thursday night Grandma, the girls and myself went to the Seaside Fiesta. I have never been in all my years of visiting Florida. It was very interesting. Basically, the whole street of Flagler Avenue was closed off and booths were set up. Flagler Ave is a street downtown here where there are little shops that sell touristy type stuff. It is very cute and quaint. Anyway, there were a ton of people there and it was hard to make it down the middle of the street with my huge stroller. Mom got jealous because we kept running into people that I knew so I got to say hi to a lot of people. We didn't really buy anything, except for the most amazing fried dish I've ever tried....Gran Arepe. At first glance it looks like a pancake. That was enough to lure me in. Fried pancake? What could be better. But wait, it gets better. It was a cornbread pancake and in the middle of the pancake was a layer of mozzerella cheese. I think I like it better than funnel cake. The girls were not interested. They played it safe with a bag of cotton candy. BORING. Anyway, we had lots of fun. The girls liked watching the dancers and cheerleaders. Em said she would like to take cheerleading class.....

Party! Saturday was our 7th wedding anniversary. Chris, Jen, Mike and I got to go out to a fancy restaurant all by ourselves! I had a great piece of grouper! After dinner we made a stop at Target....we just can't stay away from that place! We had a great time, thanks to all the babysitters! I LOVE YOU MIKE! Here's to SEVEN more!

Saturday morning we made blueberry pancakes. Soph and Paige love blueberries but it took some convincing and threatening to make Em eat them. I let her blend them up into a pulp w/ my mixer/chopper so that they wouldn't be all lumpy and squishy. She was excited because they turned the regular pancakes into a blue color. She did eat a whole blue pancake and I was proud of her for trying it. The other girls each ate 2 whole pancakes! They were very good!

Last week my old college roommate, Bridget, visited Orlando when her husband had meetings for work there. Luckily, the girls and I were able to drive up on Monday and Thursday to visit her at her hotel, the Animal Kingdom Lodge. We swam all day in the awesome pool, ate lunch and played on the playground. There are also several safari views at the hotel and we were able to spot lots of cool animals, which really impressed the kids! The girls really enjoyed playing with Becca, she is just a few weeks younger than Paige. Jaden is only 9 months old and he slept a lot from all the outdoor activities. He is soooooooo cute! I really enjoyed seeing Bridget, I'm still trying to get her to move down here!

The first of our rainy day adventures....PLAYDOH! Actually I don't think this was a rainy day but we are getting prepared for hurricane season by getting our rainy day activities in order. We also made an easy bake oven cake. The girls had gotten this SHREK cake at easter time from Jen. Needless to say, it was very tasty....
